This podcast has three parts. The first part features an acappella tune performed live by the choir of the University of the Philippines (Manila), which lately won two awards in Austria. They came to Italy to do a miniconcert for the pinoys in the Eternal City. I have interviewed some of the choir members and I'm sure their impressions and experience in Italy will make you smile. The second part of this podcast features the message of Pope Benedict XVI during his fourth weekly general audience this morning. The Pontiff focused his reflection on Psalm 112. This particular psalm celebrates the liberation of the people of Israel from slavery and also expresses the joy they find in serving the Lord in the Promised Land. In the third part of this 14-minute podcast you will hear a refreshing song from the choir of the Filipino Catholic Community of Rotterdam. The pinoys in Rotterdam recently hosted the annual International Choir Festival held in that Dutch city.
